Custom Cricket Jerseys for Clubs: The Complete Ordering Guide

Everything a cricket club needs to know about ordering custom jerseys — from fabric choices and sublimation printing to MOQ, sizing and production timelines. Factory-direct from Sialkot.

Ordering custom cricket jerseys for your club is easier than most captains and committee members expect — once you know what questions to ask and what information to prepare. This guide walks you through every step, from choosing fabrics to approving your first sample.

Step 1: Decide What You Need

Before contacting any manufacturer, know your kit requirements. A complete cricket uniform order typically includes:

  • Match whites: Long or short-sleeve shirts, and trousers
  • Coloured T20 kits: Short-sleeve shirts and shorts or trousers in your club colours
  • Training shirts: Pre-season and practice shirts (can be cheaper fabric)
  • Optional: Sweaters, fleeces, playing caps, kit bags

Most clubs order all of the above in a single package order — this unlocks the best pricing and ensures matching colourways across every garment.

Step 2: Choose Your Fabric

The fabric determines performance, durability and price. For cricket clothing manufacturers, the standard options are:

Match Whites — Fabric Options

  • 100% Polyester (dri-fit): Lightweight, moisture-wicking, quick-dry. Best for hot climates. Typical weight: 140–160gsm.
  • Poly-Cotton blend (65/35): Slightly heavier feel, more traditional. Used by many county and village cricket clubs in the UK.
  • Cotton: Traditional feel, comfortable, but heavier when wet and slower to dry. More expensive to produce.

T20 Coloured Kits — Fabric Options

  • 100% Sublimation Polyester: The standard for T20 kits. Colours are vibrant, print is permanent (won't crack or fade), any design is possible.
  • Interlock Polyester: Heavier, more structured feel. Popular for premium club kits.

Step 3: Sublimation vs Screen Print

For T20 coloured kits, sublimation printing is almost always the right choice. Here's why:

  • Sublimation prints directly into the fabric fibres — the design cannot crack, peel or fade
  • Any colour combination is possible, including gradients and photo-realistic designs
  • No minimum per colour — complex multi-colour designs cost the same as single colour
  • Works perfectly on polyester fabrics

Screen printing is better for:

  • Simple logo placement on cotton or poly-cotton garments
  • Match whites where you need a single colour (e.g. club crest in navy)
  • Very high quantity orders where per-unit cost matters

Step 4: Design Your Kit

You'll need to prepare a tech pack or design brief. This doesn't need to be professionally designed — a clear brief is enough:

  • Your club logo in vector format (AI, EPS or high-res PNG)
  • Pantone or RGB colour codes for club colours
  • A sketch or reference photo of the desired design
  • Sponsor logos (if any) in vector format
  • Player name and number placement preferences

At US Sports CLUB, our design team creates a free digital mockup within 24 hours of receiving your brief. You approve the design before any production begins.

Step 5: Understand MOQ and Sizing

Most cricket clothing manufacturers have minimum order quantities. Here's how ours works:

  • 1 piece: Sample only — get a physical sample before committing to bulk
  • 10 pieces: Club kit minimum — suitable for small clubs or additional kits
  • 25+ pieces: Best pricing unlocked — most club orders fall here

For sizing, we need a size run from your players. We supply garments in XS through 5XL, including youth sizes. Provide your full player size list and we'll confirm availability.

Step 6: Production and Delivery Timeline

  • Digital mockup: 24–48 hours after receiving your brief
  • Physical sample: 10–14 days via DHL Express
  • Bulk production (after sample approval): 3–4 weeks
  • Shipping to UK / Australia: 3–5 days DHL Express, 4–6 weeks sea freight

Plan for season: Order 8–10 weeks before you need the kit to allow for sample review and any amendments before bulk production.
